While writing my Music and Self essay the term,” voice in writing ” was not challenged for me. I feel that that term was the purpose of this essay. with this essay I was able to use my own voice and point of view to write a really good essay. I took this essay to have and audience of close friends and family so it became very informal. Before I started to write this essay I asked myself what song is the best song. Also if I write about a Christian song will it hider me because of the view of others. I can honestly say that I have no more questions that I ask myself. I feel this way because this essay was simple and I felt that I put my heart into it and I was able to have a good piece of work. While writing this paper I learned that I find interest in things I can use my own knowledge about. As well as when I write and use something that has a meaning to me I am proud of all of the information I provide. My weakness came in the form of my ideas not being organized. I thought of so many things and I did not properly place them in the essay. Though my strength out shined I was able to pick a song I was really into and the way I was able to use the lyrics.
