Introduction to Research Paper

The purpose of my research paper was to so my academic voice on an uprising social justice problem. My intended audience were highly educated professionals and scholars. As I wrote this paper I asked myself what do I write about how can I make this a great essay. I still ask what are other ways I can show my academic voice?. I felt that the term,” voice in writing” was had to understand in this writing. I was unable to use first person point of view and I was just a little unaware of how I could put my personal thought into the essay. I was able to learn a lot of statics on black inner city children. As I got into reading my information I learned a lot about what impacts a inner city child. My strengths was being able to relate to the topic and having a academic voice that tried to input my own ideas. My weakness were not being able to find more sources of information. I also feel that my weakness came from me not knowing how to do a proper research paper. The term,” voice in writing” did not show up in this essay. I feel that although I used my academic voice I was unable to really say my part.
